NAUTILUS ROOM

It is a 70m room refurbished to accommodate exhibits of various types.

It is a multipurpose space that, although it is also integrated into the path of the Aquarium, has the possibility of having independent access to the outside (by the stairs leading up to Paseo Nuevo).

zLAND is a collective and anonymous exhibition conceived as a way of questioning traditional notions of authorship and offering a perspective on an area of the city where the sea is unquestionably at the heart of everyday life.

Through the distribution of low-resolution cameras, the project embraces a lo-fi aesthetic, grain and chromatic saturation, transforming technical limitations into an expressive tool.

At the core of the project are the anonymous perspectives that spontaneously capture the landscape of Zurriola Promenade: a hybrid territory where the pressures of tourism meet the everyday rituals of the local community. The result is a fragmented archive that records both the friction and the summer splendour of community life.
