NAUTILUS ROOM

It is a 70m room refurbished to accommodate exhibits of various types.

It is a multipurpose space that, although it is also integrated into the path of the Aquarium, has the possibility of having independent access to the outside (by the stairs leading up to Paseo Nuevo).

The ITSASAMPLE exhibition showcases beautiful and astonishing images of biological organisms and various marine species, thanks to the joint efforts of CIC nanoGUNE, the Aquarium, and the Plentzia Marine Station.

The exhibition aims to bring the public closer to a world unknown to most people, offering the enjoyment of observing what the naked eye cannot see. The samples of biological organisms and marine species have been captured by nanoGUNE’s electron microscopes.

Schedule

The opening hours will follow the Aquarium’s activity schedule, with access for Aquarium visitors. However, on Fridays and Saturdays, it will be open to the general public through the Paseo Nuevo entrance from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Activities

On October 16 and 30, a guided tour will be offered (reservation required).
