Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of the Aquarium of San Sebastian lies in its over 31 aquariums dedicated to the Cantabrian-Atlantic Sea and tropical themed aquariums. Noteworthy among these, the large tank, we call Oceanarium, crossed by a 360º tunnel, where you can observe a variety of Atlantic and Cantabrian species and the two sand tiger shark.
This tank has more than 1.500.000 liters of water and more than 40 species of fish, including 5 species of sharks.
During the tour, you can enjoy aquariums in which you can see not only fish, but also wonderful invertebrates and many other species that will give you the right measure of the rich biodiversity hosted by the ocean.
In all the aquariums you will find information about the different species because for us it is vital to convey to the visitor the importance of environmental balance, but, above all, the importance of respecting and protecting the oceans.
