Description
The first steamboat used for fishing in Spain and one of the first in Europe. Built in 1879 in Scotland for the company owned by Ignacio Mercader in San Sebastián. Its name “Mamelena” comes from Mamá Elena and it was christened as such in memory of his wife, who had recently passed away.
